Through observation and reflective writing, Maitha explores the relationship between nature and time. Leaves, sunlight, shadows, and collected materials become both collaborators and records of change.

Born 1999 · Abu Dhabi, UAE
Maitha Al Omaira is an Emirati visual artist whose practice explores time, nature’s transience, and material change.
Working across various mediums, she draws on seasonal cycles, sunlight, leaves, and everyday encounters with the natural world. Her work considers how time is felt and noticed through subtle changes, bringing material experimentation into conversation with poetry.
Inspired by processes of collecting, documenting, and preserving, she works with natural elements and embraces chance, allowing materials and the environment to shape the work.
